What else should I do?

I am an assistant manager of womens @ a well known retail store. The store manager is a complete a**h**e to me and my other coworkers. I always complete my assignments on time and give more than what is asked of and its never enough. He always yells at me in front of customers and personnel. Its like he gets a joy out embarrassing people. Instead of talking to me like I'm an adult, he talks @ me as if I am a nonentity or child. Initially I went to my direct boss with my concerns and we had a group meeting. He apologized and the behavior stopped. Within 2 or 3 months later the toxic behavior resurfaced. He starting voicing comments that were unacceptable. For example, "That face! Stop making that ugly face!" or "GIrlfriend you need to learn how to talk! You sound like a dumb blond!" Both comment were said in front of customers and coworkers!! I planned on calling corporate that day. Enough is enough, I told myself, but, I foolishly talked myself out of it. Then an incident occured that was the final straw. Yesterday, I was preparing the selling floor and he approached me pushing his index finger roughly against my forehead saying, "That's that eyebrow! That's that face! Get rid of that ugly face!" It was in front of customers and a store associate saw it. 2 seconds later he me pulled aside and said, "What did I tell you about that face?" I was so embarassed and humiliated that I immediately left the sales floor. I was wreck the entire day. I still can't believe he put his HANDS ON ME!!! As soon as my lunch break came I reported the incident to corporate. Their investingating the incident as I am writing this paragraph. But, here's the question, should I stop there? I feel I need to take this further than corporate. Any thoughts or opinions???
